This above average film noir flick stars Mickey Rooney, Jeanne Cagney, Barbara Bates, and Peter Lorre. It’s one of my favorite Peter Lorre performances. Mickey Rooney plays a young mechanic who quickly gets in over his head, and falls in to a life of crime, trying to impress a girl.
